Our beautiful baby girls have become delightful young ladies whom we are so very proud to call our daughters. We recognize that bits and pieces of character and knowledge gained by each of our ladies over the years were sowed from caring relationships or positive interactions with MANY OF YOU. For this, we celebrate divine connections of past and present! Now, each guest under the age of 25 must share or reserve a cabin with an adult over the age of 25. Whether you plan to attend with your children (which we'd love!), extended family, close friends or just your significant other, use the "more" buttons on our home page to plan your personal exciting getaway. One of my favorite memories with Briana was during the summer of 2014, when we came up with the genius idea to start a tradition of giving each other three dares to complete over the summer. The collected moments of embarrassment, [public] dance-skills, and hugging random strangers are all memories I will cherish for years to come. By the way Briana, you still owe me dares for 2015! :P

It was just supposed to be business...
I remember getting a message from Jeff Riley early July 2013. He said to me "Hey Elijah, a friend of mine is making a hunger games parody film and needs someone to do the fights, and I knew you have been studying fight directing so I thought I would ask." Instantly intrigued I agreed to do it. Jeff then says "Great! My friend's name is Briana, here is her number." After I got Briana's number I texted her, and we started talking about the project. We agreed that we would love to talk more in person, so we decided to meet the upcoming Sunday.

Then, the morning came, July 14th 2013, the day I met Briana for the first time. After her Youth Group, we decided to go to the nearby Chipotle to talk more about "business"... We failed miserably... What was supposed to be a meeting about a film soon turned into chatting about life, completely forgetting what we were there for; and that was totally cool. When we were parting ways with a side goodbye hug, she introduced Izzy to me as her sister, Izzy was less keen on giving hugs. (We've come a long way haven't we Izzy? ;-P)
We never did finish the project, but we replaced that with many more awesome memories. I also have to thank Briana and Isabel for giving me my first Hunger Games Theatrical experience, which was the premiere of Catching Fire.

Fifteen years ago, when our Lord blessed our family with our second beautiful daughter, we never would have guessed that such a peaceful, graceful, quiet young woman would come from such an angry baby! Our baby Izzy was so ready for a fight at all times that she became known as "Hurricane I". I suppose she yelled all of her life's frustration out in those first two years because she later adopted the nickname "Angel" for her peaceful spirit and kind heart.

Sixteen years ago, when our Lord blessed our family with a beautiful baby girl, we discovered the special treasure of parental love and family mission. At birth, Bri opened her eyes and fought extremely hard to stay alert, as to make her best attempt to connect to her new surroundings. To this day, she cannot stand having a bedtime and seems to still carry a strong resentment for the overtly annoying duress of closing her eyes and possibly "missing the action".
